When the twins were younger, they never let anyone into their 'world' because no one could honestly tell them apart and it upset them. They kept to themselves until Tamaki offered them to help him create the Host Club. Now, they're always outgoing and love to torture Tamaki by playing with their respected "toy", Haruhi.

Honey is depicted as a very childish and cake-loving boy who is much older than his elementary school appearance would indicate. In the anime, there is a scene which shows the true strength and power Honey possesses and it is said that he has been told by Japan's Defense Minister not to show his full power for fear of other countries thinking Japan held a weapon of mass destruction, causing the other countries to fire missiles at Japan (see episode 18 in the anime). Honey is often around his cousin, Mori (see below), who is very close to him. Honey lives with his father, the owner of a famous dojo and his little brother, Yasuchika, with whom he is often at odds.

Honey is very fond of eating sweets and his room is full of stuffed animals. He always carries around a plush bunny named Usa-chan (little Bunny in the manga) (Usa-chan is short for usagi, meaning "rabbit"). He used to hide his true self (with much difficulty) by being a "real man" for some time, but after Tamaki convinced him that liking cute things wasn't bad, he soon realized that there was absolutely no need for him to hide. Then, together with Mori, he joined the host club, attracting customers with his shotacon cuteness. His nickname, Honey, could have come from his personal name Mitsukuni (光邦?) (the abbreviation, "Mitsu", can mean "honey" (蜜?)) or as an abbreviation of his family name Haninozuka, though it is spelled as the latter.

In chapter 72, he graduates from Ouran, but says that he will return to the Host Club every so often, as will Mori.

He is also a very strong fighter, often sending people flying with one kick. He was originally intended to have an extreme dual personality. However, the "crouching in the corner, depressed" stance was reassigned from him to Tamaki. He is often compared to Momiji Sohma from Fruits Basket. Coincidentally, both characters are voiced by the same seiyū.

Name: Sasuke Uchiha

When first introduced during his assignment to Team 7, Sasuke displayed a great indifference to his teammates. Feeling that his abilities were far superior to their own, he was unwilling to cooperate with Naruto Uzumaki or Sakura Haruno, as he felt that doing so would do nothing to help him kill Itachi. These perceptions were quickly proven wrong, however, for, despite their failings, Sakura was an excellent source of information, whilst competition with Naruto acted as an effective way to get stronger. While he retained a confidence in himself throughout the series, Sasuke increasingly relied on his friends over the course of Part I. As he started to get close to others, he also began to risk his own life to save them, even though his death would have left him unable to fulfill his goal of vengeance upon Itachi.

Although Sasuke became content with a life of happiness in Konoha, he never allowed his ambition to gain power to leave his thoughts. During the Chunin Exams, Orochimaru noticed how Sasuke's desire for revenge seemed to have lessened, and branded him with the Cursed Seal of Heaven to give him a taste of the power he could have if he kept to his previous path of vengeance. Even when Kakashi Hatake sealed the Cursed Seal, Sasuke began to draw more and more power from it with the hopes of getting stronger. While initially complacent with his development, Naruto quickly started to grow stronger at a faster rate. This, coupled with his quick defeat by Itachi during a brief return to Konoha, led Sasuke to believe that his growth was slowing. In an attempt to reassess his strength, he began to treat his friends as opponents so as to test his abilities against their own. Dissatisfied with his progress in Konoha, and believing that Orochimaru held the key to getting strong enough to kill Itachi, Sasuke defected from Konoha at the end of Part I. Naruto attempted to stop him, but Sasuke, believing the death of Naruto, his closest friend, would give him the power he desired (as he had been told by Itachi), tried to kill him instead. However, Sasuke was ultimately unable to follow through with this idea, as he felt that this was what Itachi would have wanted him to do, and instead continued on to Orochimaru.

In Part II, Sasuke showed that he had stayed true to his original personality. In the two and a half years he spent with Orochimaru, Sasuke's goal to kill Itachi took precedence above all else; he even claimed that he was willing to give his body to Orochimaru if it meant killing Itachi, but later turned on Orochimaru after reaching the conclusion that he could learn nothing else of value from him. Despite this lack of allegiance to those close to him, Sasuke seemed to be unable to bring himself to needlessly harm those that had nothing to do with his quest for vengeance against Itachi. He made it a point to prevent their deaths when possible.[1] However, this attitude has changed after achieving his goal of bringing about Itachi's death. After learning how his brother had been manipulated by Konoha's higher-ups, Sasuke abandoned all of his hatred for Itachi, and resolved to destroy all of Konoha for both of their sakes, despite the majority of its villagers having had no involvement in the Uchiha massacre. He is also willing to take the lives of anyone who stands in the way of his revenge. However, after Pain's invasion, he seems to have lost interest in attacking the village although he might simply wish to kill Danzo first.

Unlike most characters in Naruto, Sasuke does not usually address anyone with honorifics at the end of their names (except his parents and older brother when he was a child), like "Kakashi-sensei" or "Orochimaru-sama" (something the Japanese would consider as very insulting or rude). According to Kakashi, Sasuke has both a superiority complex and an inferiority complex. Sasuke has been shown as unwilling to acknowledge when he is wrong or out of his league. When Naruto was showing more growth as a ninja in Part I, Sasuke began treating Naruto as an enemy, and kept challenging Naruto to a fight. When he killed Orochimaru in Part II, Sasuke talked down to him for 'robbing the cradle'. Sasuke said that it was the only way Orochimaru could have possibly overpowered a Uchiha. Sasuke also said that the Uchiha were the geniuses that put other geniuses to shame.

Зецу действа като шпионин на Акатски - роля, която много му се отдава, заради способността му да се слива с околната среда и моментално да се предвижва от едно на друго място. И въпреки това не може да достигне скоростта на движение на Тоби/Мадара Учиха. Заради тази роля, Зецу е единствения член на организацията, който се движи без партньор. Поради тази причина, Зецу е смятан за по-висш като понякога останалите му докладват.

Главата на Зецу се появява като в уста на насекомоядно растение, което може да обгърне цялото му тяло. Той е човекоядец, изпращан да поглъща телата, които Акатски не искат да бъдат намерени. Това е в допълнение към другите му роли, давайки му функцията на Ловуващ-нинджа за Акатски. Дясната част от тялото и лицето му е черна на цвят, а лявата - бяла. Описание:Сакура е част от 7 група, заедно със Саске Учиха и Наруто Узумаки. Тя много харесва Саске, но има много съперници като Ино Яманака, с която са били най-добри приятелки като малки, но след като разбират, че и двете харесват Саске, са станали съпернички. Нейният персонаж търпи значително развитие през епизодите. В І част, тя е слаба и неуверена, често преследвана от спомените си за миналото. Докато във ІІ част, тя е много по-силна психически и показва неимоверен напредък в уменията си като нинджа.

Сакура има рядката дарба да контролира с изключителна точност чакрата си, което я прави подходяща да бъде медицински нинджа. В края на І част Сакура отправя апел към Цунаде, да я направи своя ученичка. Още в първите епизоди на „Наруто: Ураганни Хроники“, тя и Наруто биват поставени на изпитание, в което трябва да покажат колко са напреднали с обучението си. На няколко пъти различни персонажа (Наруто, Какаши Хатаке, Джирая) отбелязват изненадата си от това колко силна е станала тя.

Kallen Stadtfeld is a Britannian-Japanese girl, who believes herself to be a Japanese person at heart and prefers to be known by her mother's maiden name, Kouzuki. Her father is Britannian and her mother is an Eleven; her father comes from a prestigious Britannian family, which Kallen benefits from. She attends the Ashford Academy, where she later becomes a member of its student council and is one of its most outstanding students. Her brother, Naoto Kouzuki (紅月ナオト, Kōzuki Naoto?), with whom she had a deep connection, was a former leader of her resistance cell before his death.

Both Kallen's stepmother, a Britannian, and biological mother live with her in the same house, but her biological mother is employed as a maid and is often mistreated by both her stepmother and Kallen herself. After her biological mother is arrested for using Refrain (a fictional drug which lets people think they're reliving the past), Kallen changes her views and decides to fight against the Britannian Empire not only for her brother, but to fulfill her new wish for a world in which she can live happily with her biological mother.
Kallen leads a double life as a normal Britannian student and as a member of a guerrilla resistance group against Britannia, which is later reformed into the Order of the Black Knights by Lelouch Lamperouge. In school, she portrays herself as a weak-bodied high school student who obeys all of the formalities, and goes by her Britannian name of Stadtfeld. However, her personality changes in to a very strong-willed and forceful one when she acts as a resistance fighter.

As a running gag, Kallen ends up nude or immodestly dressed in front of other people on numerous occasions: Lelouch sees her naked after she pulls back a shower curtain in surprise in the third episode, Suzaku sees her bathing under a waterfall when they are stranded on Kaminejima, she is forced to dress in an immodest bunny costume at the start of the second season (to plant a tracking device on Lelouch), and she walks in on a meeting between C.C. and the Chinese ambassadors wearing only a towel when intending to complain about the previous situation to C.C. (claiming that the operation would've gone faster if C.C. was wearing the outfit).

In an interview reported by the anime magazine Newtype USA, seiyu Ami Koshimizu talked about the difficulty of voicing Kallen because of the double life that her character leads. Certain aspects of Kallen's character such as her girlish naivete and competitiveness made it easy for the voice actress to relate, even to the point of admitting that in some ways they act very much the same.[6]

Lelouch Lamperouge is the title character and protagonist of the series. Character biography
Deidara is a missing-nin from the Hidden Rock Village who specializes in explosives. At first it seemed unclear whether he was a he or a she, since both the third person pronouns he and she are used to refer to Deidara. But judging from the deep masculin voice givin to him in the anime, he's definitely a male.

He's able to manipulate clay and forms it into different animal-like shapes to attack his opponents with. The clay is infused with chakra and is detonated from a remote distance by Deidara using the command "Katsu", which translates into "Detonate".

The means to make this explosive clay are the mouths in the palm of each hand. All he has to do is devour an animal or anything for that matter and he is able to copy its form. And like said he's able to bring it to life by infusing chakra into the molded clay. Depending on how much chakra is infused he refers to his creations from anywhere between "C1" to "C4", C4 being the strongest.

Deidara was recruited after being noticed by Akatsuki's leader, Pein, as a successful terrorist bomber for hire. Originally Deidara refused to join Akatsuki, but after being defeated by Uchiha Itachi he was forced to join. From that point on Deidara is determined to defeat Itachi, and searches for a way to resists Itachi's genjutsu. During his time with Akatsuki Deidara was first teamed up with Sasori. Sasori having a somewhat artistic ability himself earned the respect of Deidara, who always addresses him as master Sasori. After Sasori is killed, he's paired with Tobi, a relatively young boy who tends to unintentially irritate Deidara a lot. Despite that, Deidara tries to protect Tobi, and treats him as a diciple.

Deidara is also the one who starts the assault on the Sand village in order to abduct the Kazekage, Gaara. He succeeds in his mission and was able to obtain the jinchuuriki Gaara. He's a long distance fighter and isn't partically good at taijutsu as shown in his fight with Gaara. His long range attacks however are very damaging, and since he's not your average head-on attacker he's one Akatsuki member you do not want to underestimate. During his fight with Gaara, Deidara loses one hand, but was able to revive it later on. Although the arm he lost escaping Kakashi's Mangekyou Sharingan technique wasn't revivable, it was lost forever.

Just like Sasori was able to turn himself into a puppet, Deidara is able to turn himself into a human bomb. Just like on his hands, he has a mouth on his chest which can be unsealed. Once unsealed and provided with clay he can turn himself into a living bomb which can destroy everything in a 10 kilometer radius. He eventually uses this technique as a last resort in his fight against Uchiha Sasuke in an attempt to prove his art is absolute. Deidara hated the fact that it was Sasuke, and not him, who eventually killed Orochimaru and tries to end the fight in a draw. However, Sasuke was able to survive and Deidara just ended up blowing himself up. Deidara first appears in episode 135 stating that the Akatsuki would eventually kill Orochimaru.

Elizabeth Middleford
Elizabeth Middleford (エリザベス・ミッドフォード, Erizabesu Middofoodo?) is the daughter of Marchioness Frances Middleford and is both Ciel's cousin and fiancée. She is a very happy and upbeat girl. She has known Ciel for a long time and cares deeply for him, trying her best to see him smile again. Ciel sees her as an important friend and a girl that he needs to protect because he says that he does not want to lose anything important again. It has been shown a few times on how much Ciel cares cares for her, such as throwing himself in front of her to protect her from a bear in the manga, how he tried his best to save Elizabeth from Drocell, and also drying her tears after she broke his ring despite how upset he had been.

Pluto

Appearing in the anime adaption, Pluto (プルートゥ, Purūtō?), also known as the Demon Dog, is a large dog that terrorizes the town of Houndsworth until Sebastian tames him and brings him to the Phantomhive Estate. He can breathe fire, walk through barriers and shape-shift into a human. As a human, he retains dog-like qualities. Although Sebastian hates dogs, Pluto has taken a liking to him and only listens to Sebastian's orders. He has ties to the organization that killed Ciel's parents, as he is seen resting by the feet of a member and licking his hand and has been with Angela prior to living at the Phantomhive Estate. When Ash uses him to set fire to the Estate and burn London, Ciel orders his staff to kill Pluto. He is voiced by Takafumi Yamaguchi in the anime adaption.

Madame Red

Madame Red (マダム・レッド, Madamu Reddo?), born Angelina Durless (アンジェリーナ･ダレス, Anjerīna Daresu?), is Ciel's aunt. As her title suggests, she is known for her red appearance and clothing. Initially she hated her red hair, which she inherited from her father, until Ciel's father stated he liked it. Angelina fell in love with him and became distraught when she found her sister was marrying him. Madame Red later married Baron Barnett, who treats her lovingly and gently, stating that he does not mind that she harbors feelings for another. She obtained a medical license against the wishes of her parents and practices at the Royal London Hospital. After a carriage accident in which her husband was killed, her womb and unborn child had to be removed. This causes her great strife as a doctor because she regularly performs abortions on prostitutes as they believe having a child is troublesome. She later kills her patients with Grell Sutcliff and the two become known as Jack the Ripper.

Finnian

Finnian (フィニアン, Finian?), often called Finny, is a gardener. However, it seems every time he tends to the garden it is killed through an accident caused by his clumsiness. He is portrayed as an innocent, child-like character, but is dubbed an idiot by Sebastian. Finnian displays feats of superhuman strength, which he tries to suppress from fear of hurting others and risk of sabotaging his work. The sequence S-012 are tattooed to the back of his neck and are covered by his straw hat. He works as a gardener to spend as much time as possible outside because he was not able to do so before, and explains that he loves working for Ciel because he does not give him injections, kill his friends or lock him in a cage. He was experimented on to increase physical strength before the events of the story until he was rescued by Sebastian. He seems to have feelings for Angela because her kindness and beauty until he saw her true dominatrix personality. At the anime's conclusion, it is unknown whether he is alive or dead, although it is noted he was breathing before he collapsed.

По време на мисията Рин от отбора на Какаши е отвлечена.Какаши отказва да тръгне да я спаси като казва:,,Тези които не спазват правилата са боклуци,, защото знае как хората от Коноха са се отнесли със баща му.Но тогава Обито Учиха допълва ,,но тези които изоставят приятел в беда са по-долни и от боклука,,.Тогава Учихата който не е развил шаринган тръгва да търси Рин ,а току що станалия джунин го проследява .Обито попада в засада ,но Какаши го спасява но губи лявото си око.Те спасяват Рин ,но попадат в засада на Нинджа от селото скрито в камъните .Един от камъните за малко да падне върху Какаши ,но Обито го спасява като камъка смаза дясната му половина.Той казва на Рин да имплантира неговото Шаринган око на местото на загубеното от Какаши.И му казва че чрез него ще вижда бъдещето.След това умира ,а Какаши и Рин се оказват в доста лоша ситуация понеже са обградени от врагове.Какаши прави Чидори и после се събужда при сенсея си Йондайме.В последствие те изпълняват мисията ,но Какаши губи най-добрия си приятел.И така в Коноха се родиха двама големи Шаринган героя на тази Трета световна война .Единя умря ,а другия направи така ,че името ,,Шаринган Какаши,, да е известно из целия нинджа свят. По-късно той влиза в организацията,,АНБУ,,......... Какаши постоянно закъснява ,но това е защото ходи на гроба на най-добрия си приятел Обито Учиха и винаги измисля някакви извинения като ,,Изгубих се по пътя на живота" и такива подобни.Също така никога не показва лицето си напълно ,но си личи че е хубавец :D (лично мнение) .И винаги чете книгата Icha Icha Paradise или позната още като Come Come Paradise .Той е сенсей на 7 Отбор.
Негов вечен враг и може би най-добър приятел е Майто Гай /не е хубав,няма стил и Какаши никога не го слуша,но Гай предава ли се НЕ/

Faye Valentine

Faye Valentine born August 14, 1994 is one of the members of the bounty hunting crew in the anime series Cowboy Bebop. She is often seen with a cigarette and in a revealing outfit complete with bright yellow hot pants and a matching, revealing top (and on occasion a bikini). She sports violet hair, green eyes, and a voluptuous body. Although appearing to be no more than 23 years old as her body suggests, Faye is actually upwards of 77 years old, having been put into cryogenic freeze after a space shuttle accident, wherein she spent fifty-four years in suspended animation. During the course of the series (set in 2071), Faye manages to cross paths with Spike and Jet twice before she finally makes herself at home aboard their ship the second time, much to the consternation and disapproval of the two men, both of whom have their own reservations about women in general. Faye herself is brash, egotistical, and quite lazy, despite taking plenty of time to pamper and care for her own appearance. Faye has been arrested several times in the series and has spent time in handcuffs on the ship. She, at times, expects the boys to take care of bounties for her, while she sits by idly to reap the benefits and eat all their food, another source of conflict.

Seemingly little more than a thorn in her partners’ sides, Faye is actually a well-rounded member of the team. She can handle herself exceptionally well for a woman of her slight appearance, displaying at least once in the series (in "Cowboy Funk") that she has a powerful punch. Adept at flying, Faye has stood her ground just as well as Spike has in an aerial dogfight in her ship Red Tail, and at times even against Spike in an aerial dogfight (though Spike eventually proved the better pilot). She also excels with guns, and is first seen in the series completely disabling a shop with a Heckler & Koch MP5K, though she is immediately apprehended afterward. In the movie, she is seen with the same gun, in addition to her normal companion: a Glock 30. Faye has an almost unstoppable attitude, and even her sometimes innocent smile can be seen as dangerous. She has many bad habits, such as drinking, habitual gambling, smoking cigarettes and occasionally cigars, becoming unnecessarily violent, and turning on partners when the profits seem too skimpy. Sarcastic and presumptuous, she rarely appears weak or in need of support. She brags and takes care of herself, never trusting others, cheating and lying her way from one day to the next. She also shows herself capable of unpredictable behavior, as when she kissed Ed on the mouth to snap Ed from one of her "autistic" moments.

She is a woman who is skilled at getting what she wants; her indomitable exterior hides a more delicate interior. Upon awakening from her 54-year cryogenic sleep, not only was she saddled with a massive amount of debt that she had no means to pay, but she was also diagnosed with total amnesia, a stranger in a mysterious world that she was not a part of and did not understand, surrounded by people who claimed to be helping her but were only there to take advantage of her naiveté. The surname "Valentine" was merely a name given to her by the doctor who woke her; the circumstances of her accident, her previous life, and even her real name all remain a mystery, and are only gradually revealed as the series progresses. It has been hinted that she came from Singapore on Earth, and was the daughter of a very wealthy family, as the city's famous Merlion Statue features prominently in scenes of her childhood, and that memories and a film from her childhood showed her living in a large mansion. In an early episode, she states that she is descended from Roma people, but she may well have been lying. Utterly betrayed by someone she thought she could trust after waking, Faye found herself burdened with even more money to pay, and the situation resulted in the hardening of her personality to an extreme degree. She even says in Session 11: “we deceive or we are deceived”, and that “nothing good ever happened to me when I trusted others.”

Throughout the series, though she retains her sarcastic demeanor and unpleasant nature up until the very end, it is easy to see her grow as a character. She learns to value her comrades, coming back to the Bebop when she realizes that it is the only home that she has left, naming it as the “only place I could return to”. She grows to understand the disadvantages of being a loner, and that even though her "family" is somewhat dysfunctional it is still a place where she will always belong.

Throughout the series, though she grows to care for Jet and even Edward in her own way, it is her relationship with Spike that remains a cause for consideration by most. There is also speculation that she holds a romantic interest in Spike.[who?] Although this is never stated, her attraction may be implied by her interactions with him (Pierrot Le Fou, My Funny Valentine, Speak like a Child, The Real Folk Blues) as well as her fascination with Julia (Jupiter Jazz, The Real Folk Blues). Faye also reacts with fear and concern when being told by Vincent about his meeting with (and supposed dispatching of) Spike in Cowboy Bebop: The Movie. Faye's voice actress Wendee Lee has also stated that Faye cares for Spike very deeply, but tries to mask her feelings (so as not to seem vulnerable). Although he comes to see her as a companion, Spike's romantic feelings toward Faye seem to be void or, at the least, well-hidden, though he does come to her aid when she is kidnapped by Vicious and in session 23 when he goes to free her from the Scratch cult and watches over her while she recovers. Furthermore, in "Ballad of Fallen Angels", as Spike recalls Julia before fully awakening, a scene with Faye watching over him replays at the end of the sequence. This could imply Spike's feelings for Faye are similar to his feelings for Julia. Watanabe stated in an interview, "Sometimes I'm asked the question, 'What does Spike think of Faye?' I think that actually he likes her quite a bit. But he's not a very straightforward person so he makes sure he doesn't show it.

Misaki Takahashi (高橋 美咲 ,Takahashi Misaki?) is
the 18 (19 in episode 8 of Junjo Romantica) year old younger brother of
Takahiro. At the start of the series, Misaki is about to sit for his
college entrance examinations. His dream is to go to Mitsuhashi
University since that was the college his brother dropped out of so
that he could begin taking care of Misaki after their parents died.
Although seemingly childish and brash, Misaki is later revealed to be a
person who is simply adamant on insisting against doing anything that
might be troublesome for anyone else. This is due to the fact that he
still blames himself for his parent's death (believing that if he had
not asked them to hurry home, they would not have sped in the rain and
crashed). Misaki and Usami eventually begin a relationship together
which puzzles Misaki, who is unconfident about his feelings towards the
older man.

Akihiko Usami (宇佐見 秋彦 ,Usami Akihiko?) is a twenty-eight year old popular author of fiction and erotic boys love novels, and the youngest recipient of the distinguished Naomori Award. His nickname is "Usagi", which means "rabbit" in Japanese. Usagi is Misaki's tutor for the upcoming entrance exams, and a very close friend of Takahiro (he, in fact, harbored an unrequited love for Takahiro for a long time). He and Hiroki were childhood friends. Shortly after meeting Misaki, he finds that Takahiro has gotten engaged. Seeing how upset this makes Misaki on Usagi's behalf, Usagi realizes that he loves the younger boy and the two become lovers.

Archer (アーチャー, Āchā?)
He is the Servant of one of the series' main heroines, Rin Tōsaka. Due to an incomplete summon, he apparently has no memory of his previous life or identity. Archer is sarcastic and cynical - but under his hardened exterior lies a complex and dark personality that unfolds throughout the story. Though skilled with ranged weapons, he can hold his own in mêlée combat. Archer considers Shirō Emiya's idealism to be weak and delusional, recognizing Shirō's mentality of "wanting to save everyone" as naïve and impossible.



Saber (セイバー, Seibā?)
She is Shirō's Servant, an agile and powerful warrior. Loyal, independent, and reserved, Saber acts coldly but is actually suppressing her emotions to focus on her goals. Her class is considered the "Most Outstanding", with excellent ratings in all categories. Since her Master cannot effectively provide her with Mana, she minimizes her activity to preserve what she has. Saber is frustrated by Shirō's "protective" tendencies, believing his erratic and reckless behavior will jeopardize her chances of winning the Holy Grail War.

Rin Tōsaka (遠坂 凛, Tōsaka Rin?)
A model student and idol of Shirō's school who is secretly a sorceress and Master in the Holy Grail War. She is a descendant from a long line of sorcerers, and though she lacks a formal magic education, she is extremely powerful in her own right. Her father was killed in the fourth Holy Grail War, and she has trained since his death to succeed him. She is perceptive, resourceful and avidly competitive. She tried to summon a Saber-class Servant, but she accidentally called Archer instead.




Shirō Emiya (衛宮 士郎, Emiya Shirō?)
Shirō Emiya is the main character of the story. He is a serious yet helpful, hardworking, and honest teenager. His hobbies include fixing a variety of broken things, from VCRs to stoves, as well as cooking and cleaning. He has some slight talent with sorcery, though he was discouraged by his foster father Kiritsugu Emiya from improving his gifts. He is initially confused about the Holy Grail War and attempts to irrationally shield others from danger, including his own Servant, Saber.

Spike Spiegel (スパイク・スピーゲル, Supaiku Supīgeru?) (born June 26, 2044) is a tall, lean, and slightly muscular 27-year-old bounty hunter born on Mars with a history of violent activity seen through flashbacks and dialogue with the Red Dragon Syndicate. He is often depicted with a cavalier attitude, but frequently shows signs of compassion when dealing with strangers. The inspiration for Spike's martial arts is found in Bruce Lee, who uses the style of Jeet Kune Do as depicted in Session 8, "Waltz For Venus". He has fluffy, blackish green hair (inspired by Yusaku Matsuda's) and reddish brown eyes, one of which is artificial and lighter than the other. He is usually dressed in a blue leisure suit, with a yellow shirt and Lupin III inspired boots. A flashback in Session 6 revealed that his apparently fully functioning right eye was surgically replaced by a cybernetic one (although Spike himself may not have conscious recollection of the procedure since he claims to have lost his natural eye in an "accident"). A recurring device throughout the entire show is a closeup on Spike's fully-natural left eye before dissolving to a flashback of his life as part of the syndicate. As said by Spike himself in the last episode, his right eye "only sees the present" and his left eye "only sees the past". The purpose of this cybernetic eye is never explicitly stated, though it apparently gives him exceptional hand-eye coordination—particularly with firearms (Spike's gun of choice is a Jericho 941, as seen throughout the series). He also is talented pilot in his personal fighter the Swordfish, a modified racer.

In the first episode, when facing a bounty-head using Red Eye, Spike mocks him, calling his moves "too slow". At first, this seems like posturing on Spike's part, but even with his senses and reflexes accelerated to superhuman levels by the drug, the bounty cannot even touch Spike. Spike often has a bent cigarette between his lips, paying homage to the friend of Lupin III and Watanabe's inspiration for Spike, Daisuke Jigen (Marlboro Reds are Jigen's cigarette brand of choice and Spike is seen toying with a pack in the "Cowboy Bebop Movie"). Sometimes Spike's cigarette usage occurs despite being in rain or designated non-smoking areas, the latter sometimes leading to humorous situations such as Spike swallowing his cigarettes when being told not to smoke and later regurgitating them while not being watched.

Spike's final fate is left somewhat undetermined with a split between fans on whether or not he survives his final duel with his nemesis Vicious. Series creator Shinchiro Watanabe has stated that he himself is not sure of Spike's ultimate fate. On one occasion at a panel discussion in Detroit he said “I’m surprised you think the ending of Cowboy Bebop is dark. I mean, Spike might just be sleeping.” [2]

Hiroki Kamijō (上條 弘樹, Kamijō Hiroki?) in the anime, he is a long-time friend of Akihiko's, who is an associate professor at the college Misaki studies at. He is a bit of a loner and is extremely passionate about classical Japanese literature, apparently having graduated at the top of his class. Hiroki was initially in love with Akihiko, his childhood friend. He is an example of the tsundere character archetype: he has a bad temper and is feared among his students, though he is actually shy and gets flustered easily. He is often called "Demon Kamijo" by the students. Hiroki is now in a relationship with Nowaki and Nowaki calls him Hiro-san. In the anime adaptation, he is voiced by Kentarō Itō.

Lucy/Nyu
Lucy (ルーシー , Rūshī?) is a teenage diclonius girl, around 18 years old,[citation needed] and the central protagonist/antagonist of the series. Lucy has four vectors with a limited range of about two meters. However, she can be swift and lethal within that range, and will use any nearby objects as high velocity projectiles to kill at greater distances. She is also capable of stopping or deflecting most standard ammunition when she concentrates on the task.

Lucy hates humans mainly because of how she was treated by her human peers as a child, of whom she eventually killed several after they captured a puppy Lucy had been caring for and beat it to death in front of her. Consequently, she discounts non-diclonii, claiming they are not real people, to the point of telling Nana that she has "not killed anyone yet". She seems to lack empathy and kills without much concern and normally as a first reaction. She is incredibly sadistic, amputating limbs and blinding foes, leaving them to bleed to death rather than killing them outright. Despite this lack of concern for human life she will not harm Kohta, and cries and apologizes for killing his family in a fit of jealousy; she loves Kohta, but due to her vengeful nature, she believes he will be content without her existence. As such, she refrains from killing in his presence, except in the anime, when at the end, she kills a whole army in front of him. However, Lucy still isn't above acts of jealously, once using her vectors to shove Yuka when she saw her holding hands with Kohta. She never refers to herself as Lucy, but her real name is "Kaede", which is revealed when she uses it to sign her letter to Kohta in the manga. After her death in the manga, Kohta and his daughter are approached by two twin girls with ribbons in their hair, heavily implied to have some connection to Lucy and Nyu.




Nyu (にゅう?) is a split personality of Lucy that developed after a .50 BMG round pierces the metallic helmet encasing her head. Nyu has a childlike personality and infantile knowledge of the world, and lacks spoken language skills, being able to say only "Nyu" and "Kohta" most of the time. Near the end of the anime, she develops a wider vocabulary, with the ability to say phrases like "Don't cry, Kohta!". Nyu is innocent and incapable of violent acts, a foil to the normally cold and sadistic Lucy; she is the manifestation of her "good side". When Nyu is attacked violently (or hit on the head), she regresses into Lucy; likewise, when Lucy is treated with love and kindness, or wants to hide herself from Kohta, she will change back into Nyu. While Nyu exists first due to trauma, it is believed that Lucy subconsciously encourages her presence due to her feelings of guilt towards Kohta and to prevent her from harming him (directly or indirectly). In the manga, this is confirmed by Lucy herself.

During the final episode, Nyu cuts her hair to try to be in appearance like his deceased little sister Kanae, whom Kohta claimed to have said horrible things to her before she died in the hands of Lucy. When Kohta mused if Kanae would ever forgive him for what he said, Nyu copied Kanae's appearance of short hair and a bow and, on account of Kohta asking Nyu what she was up to, said, 'I'm Kanae!' and said 'Kanae forgives!'. Coincidentally, this is the same hairstyle Lucy donned in her youth. She is subverted by Lucy for a larger portion of the manga's final volumes, but reemerges in chapter 106, helping her other personality stop a third personality, based entirely on Diclonius instincts (which in flashbacks, was what urged Lucy to start killing), from harming Kohta. She then urges him to kill her and fulfill the promise he made with Lucy so long ago, which he does. After her death, Kohta names his daughter after her.

Nowaki Kusama (草間 野分, Kusama Nowaki?) was orphaned without a name as an infant, he was named "Nowaki" ("typhoon" in Japanese) by the head of the orphanage because he was found in a heavy rain storm. Elders call him "Wacchan". Nowaki first meets Hiroki 6 years ago, when he is crying about his fruitless relationship with Akihiko, and goes on to insist that Hiroki become his tutor. Originally studying to become a social worker, he changes his mind and is currently studying to become a pediatrician. Nowaki is very kind and understanding, particularly towards Hiroki. In the anime adaptation.

Shinobu Takatsuki (高槻 忍, Takatsuki Shinobu?) is an 18-year old high school student (and the son of Mitsuhashi University's dean of literature and of Miyagi's boss) who believes it to be fate that he is in love with his ex-brother-in-law, Miyagi Yo. He would very much like Miyagi to take responsibility for Shinobu falling in love with him. He is often blunt and unreasonable, though he is shown to have a softer side.

Yō Miyagi (宮城 庸, Miyagi Yō?) in the anime, he is a literature professor at Mitsuhashi University and a co-worker of Kamijo Hiroki. He was once married, but is now divorced most likely due to his indifference to feelings and emotions. He was also in love with his homeroom teacher, causing conflicting towards Shinobu due to the resemblance to his former self. His love interest is Takatsuki Shinobu, his young brother-in-law. Miyagi is often playful when it comes to teasing Hiroki, often sexually assaulting, though his true character is far more serious due to an event from his past. In the anime adaptation, he is voiced by Kazuhiko Inoue.

Soubi Agatsuma
Soubi is a twenty-year-old student, studying Japanese art. He is a former student of Shichisei Gakuen ("Seven Moons Academy"), a school for fighters, where Ritsu Minami was his teacher.
As ordered, Soubi contacted Ritsuka after Seimei's death. He introduced Ritsuka to the world of fighters and sacrifices and told Ritsuka he would be his Fighter Unit. He fought beside Seimei for some time, and many people believe that he is Beloved's Fighter Unit. The appearance of Nisei in the manga, however, proves this to be false later in the manga. Soubi now fights for Ritsuka as Loveless, which is considered taboo because there is not a fighter-sacrifice bond between them. There is also a severe loss of strength, and in Soubi's case, his markings bleed in battle. Soubi was revealed to not have a true name at all — in fact, Ritsu comments that he is a blank slate, and whatever marking he is given becomes his name. Since Seimei carved Beloved into his skin, it became his name. When given a command to break the windows, courtesy of Seimei, in volume 8, it is shown that he cannot disobey, no matter how strongly he is against it.
Soubi appears to know much more about Seimei and his cause of death than he will divulge. Despite Ritsuka's insistence that he tell him everything he knows, Soubi refuses. In volume 5 of the manga, he even says, "Seimei is my God." He openly declares that he lives his life by Seimei's orders, but still says he'll obey Ritsuka's every order, which is not necessarily true.

Ritsuka Aoyagi (青柳立夏, Aoyagi Ritsuka?)
Ritsuka is twelve years old and the protagonist of the story. He was named after the lunar day "Rikka," which fell on May 5 in the year 2005. His "true name" is Loveless, although it is yet to be seen on his body as the other teams' names are. He enjoys taking photographs and "making memories."
In the first volume, the story alludes to an abrupt change of personality occurring in Ritsuka two years prior. It is seen often through flashbacks, when his mother beats him and denies that he is truly Ritsuka and that he is actually someone else in his body. Before this change, he was a popular, yet academically average student; presently, he doesn't get along with his classmates, and he purposely points out their faults. In contrast to this, he is the perfect student. In addition to the personality change, he suffers a loss in memory. The cause of these drastic changes is still unknown, although he has regular therapy sessions to determine why.
On his first day at his new school, Ritsuka meets Soubi Agatsuma. Soubi confuses him with his sudden intimacy and puzzling claims that he was Seimei's friend and Fighter Unit. As Ritsuka discovers, Seimei's impromptu will dictates that Soubi shall "become Ritsuka's" upon his death.
Ritsuka and Soubi's relationship is complex, but in many ways Ritsuka admires Soubi. However, Ritsuka has trouble trusting others, and Soubi's various secrets continue to have an adverse effect on this.
Despite his young age and inexperience, Ritsuka is very intelligent and approaches things with startling maturity. The circumstances of his life encourage his lack of innocence; however, there have been notable incidents that bare his naïveté, particularly in sexual love and healthy relationships. Despite this, he still has firm opinions and unrelenting ideas about those subjects. It is these opinions that clash dramatically with adults and authority figures around him, most notably Soubi. Ritsuka is a pacifist, and strongly opposes violence under any circumstance.
Love is an uncomfortable subject for Ritsuka. He is wary of compliments, and doesn't like affection. Ritsuka's inner conflict over believing Soubi's declarations of love becomes a source of great tension and bitterness in their relationship.
